March Mini Maker Mornings: Make a Mark

Mini Maker Mornings return this March with a fresh creative series that celebrates movement, experimentation, and self-expression through mark-making and messy materials.

“Make a Mark” is our March Mini Maker Mornings theme - an invitation for kids to explore lines, shapes, textures, and tools in a relaxed, pressure-free way. This 4-week series flows together under one shared creative concept, giving children time to build confidence, familiarity, and creative momentum.

Each class introduces a new project invitation focused on making marks - from bold gestures to tiny details. Children are encouraged to explore materials with their whole bodies, try new tools, and discover how their movements leave a trace. There’s no “right” way to create here - just curiosity, play, and process-focused artmaking!

This series supports:
- deeper exploration of materials and tools
- growing confidence through rhythm, repetition, and familiarity
- open-ended making that values expression over outcome

Mini Maker Mornings are designed for kids who love to create, move, and get a little messy… and for grown-ups who believe creativity is about exploration, not perfection.
